As social media continues to grow and become more popular, you will have to begin paying more attention to it.
Social Listen is listening to what people are saying about you, your competition, your brand, and your products throughout social media platforms including facebook, twitter, instagram and youtube.
Being a good "Social Listener" also includes responding accordingly. The good, the bad, and the ugly. If they’re talking to or about you, they expect a response from you.
Over 50% of consumers that post a complaint on social media expect a response in less than 60 minutes. If you do not respond within the hour, over 80% of them are unlikely to buy from you again or recommend you to friends and family.
Here are a few tips on how to social listen:
Twitter search your brand, items you sell/service and hashtags.

Follow Influencers who are sharing and engaging with your product/service. Focus on how an influencer loves your product/service more than the amount of followers they have. Having interaction and a relationship with an influencer create loyal customers.
